2026年2月8日至15日，由北京大学与印度尼西亚布拉维贾亚大学联合发起的“Global Youth Creative Residency Program”全球青年创意驻留计划（印尼工作营站），在印尼玛琅市顺利举办。在工作营期间，由北京大学文化产业研究院学术研究部主任、北京大学艺术学院博士后张亚欧，北京大学艺术学院访问学者、西安建筑科技大学助理教授李敏，代表北京大学文化产业研究院院长、联合国教科文组织乡村创意与可持续发展教席主持人向勇教授，带领由北京大学、浙江外国语学院、西安建筑科技大学和云南民族大学30余名师生组成的中方代表团，与布拉维贾亚大学、玛琅市政府、布洛拉市政府、印尼客属联谊总会开展了一系列座谈活动，共议中国与印尼在文化创意与可持续发展领域的合作前景。
From February 8 to 15, 2026, the "Global Youth Creative Residency Program (Indonesia Workshop)", jointly initiated by Peking University and Indonesia's Brawijaya University, was successfully held in Malang City, Indonesia. During the residency program, a Chinese delegation consisting of over 30 faculty members and students from Peking University, Zhejiang International Studies University, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, and Yunnan Minzu University, led by Zhang Yaou, Director of Academic Research Office at the Institute for Cultural Industries and Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Arts, Peking University, and Li Min, Visiting Scholar at the School of Arts, Peking University and Assistant Professor at Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, on behalf of Professor Xiang Yong, Dean of the Institute for Cultural Industries, Peking University, and Chairholder of the UNESCO Chair on Creativity and Sustainability in Rural Communities, conducted a series of seminars with Brawijaya University, Malang City Government, Blora City Government, and the Indonesian Hakka Association, discussing the prospects of China-Indonesia cooperation in the field of cultural creativity and sustainable development.
2月9日，工作营开幕式在布拉维贾亚大学文化研究学院拉开帷幕。院长萨希鲁丁表示，本次工作营是“集理论、实践与跨文化体验于一体的全球性学习空间”，中国各高校师生的到来将为玛琅“媒体艺术之城”建设注入新活力。张亚欧博士代表向勇教授作主旨发言，强调北京大学致力于以青年为桥梁、以创意为纽带，深入探索乡村文化创新的有效路径，期待中国和印尼的青年携手共创玛琅乡村创意创新方案。双方代表互赠具有本国文化特色的纪念品，进一步巩固两校友好关系。
On February 9, the opening ceremony of the workshop was held at the Faculty of Cultural Studies, Universitas Brawijaya. Dean Sahiruddin stated that this workshop is "a global learning space integrating theory, practice, and cross-cultural experience," and the arrival of faculty and students from various Chinese universities will inject new vitality into the construction of Malang as a "City of Media Arts." Dr. Zhang Yaou delivered a keynote speech on behalf of Professor Xiang Yong. She emphasized that Peking University is committed to using youth as a bridge and creativity as a bond to deeply explore effective paths for rural cultural innovation, and looks forward to Chinese and Indonesian youth jointly creating innovative and creative solutions for rural Malang. Representatives from both sides exchanged souvenirs with distinctive cultural characteristics, further consolidating the friendly relations between the two universities.

同日举行的UNESCO创意城市网络玛琅战略协调会上，北京大学代表与布拉维贾亚大学代表、玛琅市政府代表及UNESCO印尼工作站成员围绕“媒体艺术之城”建设展开深入研讨。布拉维贾亚大学代表提出依托高校资源提供学术支撑、深化高校与创意产业联动、推动UNESCO国际工作站项目精准对接本地需求等四大战略合作方向。张亚欧博士代表向勇教授发言,她回顾了北京大学与布拉维贾亚大学不断深化合作，共建联合国教科文组织乡村创意与可持续发展教席国际工作站（印尼站），并助力玛琅市申报UNESCO“媒体艺术之城”的历程。她结合中国创意城市实践，提出“数字赋能非遗传承”“文化科技融合”“文化IP联合开发”三项合作建议，得到各方积极响应。
At the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) Malang Strategic Coordination Meeting, Peking University representatives, together with representatives from Brawijaya University, Malang City Government, and members of the UNESCO Indonesia Desk, engaged in in-depth discussions around the construction of Malang as a "City of Media Arts." Brawijaya University representatives proposed four major strategic cooperation directions, including leveraging university resources to provide academic support, deepening the linkage between universities and the creative industries, and promoting the precise alignment of UNESCO international workstation projects with local needs. Dr. Zhang Yaou spoke on behalf of Professor Xiang Yong. She reviewed the deepening cooperation between Peking University and Brawijaya University, the joint establishment of the UNESCO Chair International Workstation (Indonesia) on Creativity and Sustainability in Rural Communities, and the process of assisting Malang City's application for the UNESCO "City of Media Arts." Drawing on China's experience with creative cities, she proposed three cooperation suggestions: "Digital Empowerment of Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance," "Integration of Culture and Technology," and "Joint Development of Cultural IPs," which received positive responses from all parties.

2月12日，代表团一行赴布拉维贾亚大学文化学院，参与“布洛拉市文化传承创新”主题交流会。布拉维贾亚大学文化研究学院相关负责人介绍了学院在文化研究、遗产保护及国际合作等领域的实践成果。布洛拉市市长分享了当地历史文化资源与发展愿景。张亚欧博士表示，希望未来与布拉维贾亚大学及布洛拉市建立更紧密的合作关系，推动青年学者在文化研究、学术交流等领域的深度合作。
On February 12, the delegation visited the Faculty of Cultural Studies, Brawijaya University, to participate in the thematic exchange meeting on "Blora City Cultural Heritage and Innovation." Relevant heads of the Faculty of Cultural Studies, Brawijaya University, introduced the faculty's practical achievements in cultural research, heritage conservation, and international cooperation. The Mayor of Blora City shared the city's rich historical and cultural resources and development vision. Dr. Zhang Yaou expressed the hope for establishing closer cooperative relations with Brawijaya University and Blora City in the future, promoting in-depth cooperation among young scholars in cultural research and academic exchanges.
2月14日，应印尼客属联谊总会邀请，中方代表团与布拉维贾亚大学师生出席欢迎宴会。印尼客属联谊总会总主席在致辞中表示，客属乡亲在印尼的奋斗历程是中华文化与印尼本土文化交融共生的写照，期待在文化传承、青年交流等方面与联合国教科文组织乡村创意与可持续发展教席探索更多合作。李敏博士代表向勇教授发言，她向印尼客属联谊总会的热情招待表示感谢，希望今后能以印尼客属联谊总会为文化纽带，加强与印尼华人同胞的文化交流与学术合作。晚宴上，富有客家特色和印尼风情的歌舞表演交相辉映，中方师生与客属乡亲亲切交流，在轻松的文化氛围中加深了情谊。
On February 14, at the invitation of the Indonesian Hakka Association, the Chinese delegation, along with faculty and students from Brawijaya University, attended a welcome banquet. The President of the Indonesian Hakka Association stated in his address that the struggles of Hakka compatriots in Indonesia are a vivid portrayal of the integration of Chinese and Indonesian local cultures, and he looks forward to exploring more cooperation with the UNESCO Chair on Creativity and Sustainability in Rural Communities in areas such as cultural heritage and youth exchanges. Dr. Li Min spoke on behalf of Professor Xiang Yong. She thanked the Indonesian Hakka Association for their warm hospitality and expressed hope to strengthen cultural exchanges and academic cooperation with Indonesian Chinese compatriots through the Indonesian Hakka Association as a cultural bond. During the banquet, captivating Hakka and Indonesian song and dance performances complemented each other. Chinese faculty and students interacted warmly with Hakka compatriots, deepening friendships in a relaxed cultural atmosphere.

During this activity, Peking University and Brawijaya University deepened their inter-university cooperative relations through various forms including academic seminars, strategic coordination meetings, and cultural exchanges. At the same time, they established broad cooperative ties with the Malang City Government, Blora City Government, and Indonesian Chinese community organizations. From cultural heritage research to academic dialogue, from inter-university exchanges to local cooperation, this trip not only deepened the understanding of Indonesian culture but also laid a solid foundation for normalized cooperation between China and Indonesia in the field of rural creativity and sustainable development. In the future, the Institute for Cultural Industries, Peking University, will continue to uphold the concept of openness and inclusiveness, actively promote civilized dialogue and cultural cooperation with Indonesian universities, local governments, and various sectors of society through platforms such as the UNESCO Chair on Creativity and Sustainability in Rural Communities, contributing wisdom and strength to deepening China-Indonesia cultural exchanges and cooperation.
