一、嘉宾介绍：

Prof René Alicia Smith is Head of the Wits School of Arts (WSOA) at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits). She has extensive governance and leadership experience, having served on a wide range of governing and advisory boards. She was President of the South African Humanities Deans’ Association and Steering Committee Chairperson for the South African Centre for Digital Language Resources and currently chairs an advisory panel for the Department of Higher Education and Training. Prof Smith’s higher education experience includes serving on numerous university structures, from academic programme level to Senior and Executive Management, and University Council. As a Dean and Head of School she led internationalisation strategies, which included building ties with universities in China. She was founding director of a digital arts festival and serves on the Wits Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct.

史丽莎教授是金山大学艺术学院的院长，她拥有丰富的治理与领导经验，曾在各类治理委员会与咨询委员会任职。曾任南非人文学科院长协会主席、南非数字语言资源中心指导委员会主席，现任高等教育与培训部一个咨询小组主席。史教授的高等教育经验包括在众多大学组织架构中任职，涵盖学术项目层面、高级与执行管理层以及大学理事会。作为院长兼学院负责人，她领导了国际化战略，其中包括与中国高校建立联系。此外，她曾担任一个数字艺术节的创始总监，并供职于金山大学Tshimologong数字创新街区。

he talk will reflect on the Wits School of Arts’ vision and plans towards Wits University’s cultural precinct in Johannesburg. It aims to be an engaging dialogue with students and asks questions about the ways in which cultural policy and management finds expression in inner city developments in Africa.

     本次讲座将审视金山大学艺术学院围绕金山大学位于约翰内斯堡的文化街区所提出的愿景与规划。讲座旨在与学生展开富有参与性的对话，并探讨文化政策与管理在非洲内城发展中的体现方式。
